Postproduction has evolved into an environment where practically anyone with a computer can edit video. At FFV, we take postproduction seriously and believe it is a craft that requires an experienced and seasoned editor and postproduction supervisor to fully utilize all of the elements for your program.

In 2004 FFV was one of the first companies in the region to offer full turnkey high definition editing. Many post houses choose to down convert HD materiel prior to editing. At Florida Film & Video we are positioned to remain in the HD realm from start to finish. This insures your final product will be 'evergreen' and capable of being used far into the future without costly re-edits.

If your show requires standard definition or NTSC release, we can easily down convert the master to your choice of format - Digibeta, BETA SP, DVD, DVCAM, MPEG-4, etc. - but your master still remains HD.

Florida Film & Video's edit suites offer up a boutique style experience that is easily adaptable to the specific requirements of our clients. While FFV can offer in house editors or recommend freelance specialists, our TWO Final Cut HD suites come complete with over 10 terabytes of storage, AJA KONA 3 & KONA 2 capture cards, DVD authoring, motion graphic programs, CG, modern music libraries, and multi format playback and recording including DVCPro HD, DVCPro 50, DVCAM, BETA SP, and AVC-Intra 100.

If you prefer to edit elsewhere or at your facility, FFV can assist in capturing your media to portable hard drives and posting material on our FTP server for remote viewing.

For clients who would prefer to 'bring their own editor' we offer custom edit packages billed in half or full day increments. The suite is fully private and offers kitchen amenities as well as high speed wireless Internet and personal security code for entry.
