Bill Mills is the president of FLORIDA FILM & VIDEO and BMA Production Services, Inc. After spending 15 years in the Atlanta market as a Director of Photography under the BMA brand, Mills moved the operation to St. Petersburg in 1997 and developed FLORIDA FILM & VIDEO and subsequently DIGITAL CINEMA HD.

Bridging the gap between film, video, and HD Mills expanded on his success in the documentary, feature, and commercial industry, developing a "state of the art" HD post production operation and a full service camera rental division.

An award winning director and cinematographer, Mills has circled the globe capturing images for a wide variety of clients, ranging from a variety of international broadcasters and corporations. BMA is also on the GSA approved vendor list.

Mills has received numerous awards for production including six Emmys, a Primetime Emmy nomination for Cinematography, a 1997 Kodak Vision Award, three Cine Golden Eagles, and a Platinum Best of Show Aurora.

In 2001 the company acquired one of the first Panasonic Varicams in the southeast and remains a leader in the HD and digital market with the recent addition of a complete RED Digital Cinema package, HPX-2700 P-2 Varicam, Sony EX-series cameras, and the popular HVX-200.

When he's not on location, Bill enjoys sailing, SCUBA, and is currently working to complement his BA in Television-Film from the University of Georgia with a Master's Degree in Emergency Management at AMU.

He is a member of Film-Florida; the Society of Operating Cameraman (SOC); the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM - Student branch), and holds a 100-ton United States Coast Guard License for Power or Sail.
